Have any changes been made to TAP as a result of teacher input?
A reform of this magnitude must be looked at as a process where input is gathered and changes are made along the way. A few of the changes that have been made to the program as a result of input from teachers and administrators include:
- A reduction in the amount of time spent each week in Cluster meetings
- A reduction in the number of annual evaluations (from 6 to 4)
- A reduction in the number of additional contract days required of Master and Mentor teachers
- Changes in the evaluation process for counselors
