How are Master and Mentor teachers paid?
Stipends are given to Master and Mentor teachers for their increased levels of responsibility and time. In 2005-06, Mentor teachers worked 8 additional days and receive a $3,000 stipend for the extra days and responsibilities. Master teachers worked 15 additional days and receive a $7,000 stipend for extra days and responsibilities.
