What are the responsibilities of Master and Mentor teachers?
Master teachers are released from regular teaching responsibilities for a minimum of 70% of each day to support the growth and development of other teachers. They oversee all Cluster meetings and they coach and evaluate other teachers.
Mentor teachers are released from regular teaching responsibilities for a minimum of 30% each day to support the growth and development of other teachers. The rest of their time is spent coaching and evaluating other teachers and providing leadership for Cluster meetings.
