Health Benefits
Eagle County Schools seeks to provide a quality and affordable health plan for all eligible employees and their families. ECS has a "self funded" insurance program, meaning that the district runs its own de facto health insurance company and hires consultants, access to health provider networks, pharmacy programs, and a third party administrator to run its plan. The "self funded" plan at ECS is governed by an Employee Benefits Trust (EBT) made up of current employees and community members.
The benefits and costs listed below are for the 2011-12 school year only.
