Little Foodies in the Kitchen
Recipe Contest
So you have decided to participate in Little Foodies in the Kitchen! Great! Here is what you need to do. Send us your own original recipe or a twist on an old classic that you are especially proud of. You will then prepare this special recipe for a panel of judges including some of your teachers, school board members and Vail Chefs! Once the judges have tasted all the dishes, 45 talented winners will be invited to one of the unique restaurants in Vail to join the chefs in preparing a meal that will be served to their families!

Recipes should be easy to prepare, creative, serve at least 4-6 people and be in any of three categories:
- Interesting Entree
- Amazing Appetizer
- Delicious Side Dish
Entries will be judged on the following:
- Uniqueness (6 points)
- Taste (6 points)
- Creativity (4 points)
- Visual Appeal (4 points)
Please send in your recipe by September 1, 2010.
Bring your fully cooked and ready to serve recipe to the judging site to be "tasted" by the panel of judges on September 9, 2010. Registration will begin at 5:30pm. Judging will start at 6:00pm. Serving utensils and refreshments will be provided. Once we have received your recipe, you will be contacted and given the judging location!
