Venues for Expeditionary Learning Mountain FilmFest October 23, 2010
This year the EL Schools will host four venues targeted at different audiences, including:

Family Friendly films, 1.5 hours of humorous and motivating shorts, with two showings at 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Eagle County Schools teachers and other local professionals will provide interactive dialogue related to these films;

Documentary Discussion, 1.5 hours of film and discussion themed around “Challenging Traditions: Culture, Religion, Economy”, starting at 7:30pm. Local moderators will provide their perspectives on these experiences as well;

Extreme Sport films, 1.5 hours of fast-paced and exciting adventure films focusing on the challenges that extreme adventurers face on the mountain, in the ocean, or in their everyday lives. Local adventure celebrities will share their experiences relative to these films; showing starts at 8:00pm;

Technical Film Production class, a 60 minute technical class aimed to provide technical instruction about production, editing and critique. Local expert filmmakers will provide instruction. Two sessions of this class will begin at 5:30pm and 7:00pm.
Well-known locals Eric Williams, Jamie Paschier, Innis Isom, Josiah Middaugh, Michael Wasmer and many others will join you in talking about how personal challenge and adventure affects your life.
