The 2010 National Workshop on Strategic Compensation will address innovative ideas on performance pay.
The two-day workshop will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 7 and 8, at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, in Avon, Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
Participants will hear from nationally-renowned speakers on ways to fine-tune existing performance pay systems for their school or district. The topics that will be addressed are Leadership and Change, Performance Pay and Finance, Professional Development, Teacher Evaluation, Principal Evaluation, Data and Technology, Student Assessment, Collaboration and Building a Performance Pay System.
While you can expect some typical presentations and panel discussions, the real work of this conference comes in smaller groups where you will get a chance to work shoulder to shoulder with national experts in expanding and enhancing your plans for implementing performance pay systems.
Because of Eagle County Schools' nine years of experience in implementing performance pay, the District applied for and was awarded an Alternative Compensation for Teachers Grant in the spring of 2010.
This workshop is one piece of the grant, making registration FREE for all attendees (including lunch on both days)!
Hotel rooms are available for booking at a discounted rate. Please call the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch at (970) 748-6200 to make your reservation.
Discounted rates are available through September 30, so hurry and book your room.
