Our district is somewhat unique in our use of assessment data to determine teacher performance awards.  Therefore, after researching job qualifications with assessment personnel in the field of education and with a Board of Education member with a private sector statistical background, it was determined that the best applicant should have a strong statistical background.  The applicant should also have strong skills related to assessment construction and analysis and the ability to communicate in layman’s terms.
