How long do we have to spend the $6.8 million?
What happens at the end of five years? Do the programs funded by the grant go away?
How will the district decide how to spend the money?
Will the grant benefit all teachers?
Can individual schools, grade levels or content areas utilize some of the training dollars available for customized professional development efforts intended to increase student achievement?
Will the new student assessments (for K-2, 9-12) be paid for by the $6.8 million?
Will this system store the IEP and ILP information?
Isn’t it going to be hard to learn a whole new data system? We are just beginning to get a handle on PowerSchool. Who is going to train us on all of this?
I liked having district personnel at my building to present Phase I of the grant. Can you also post the Power Point in District News?
Are there other districts who have hired an assessment person like we will be doing?
Do people like this typically have an IT background, an education curriculum background or a statistical private sector background?
Do you think one person can handle all the data from our district? Is it going to take away from our technology department?
How is the district going to fund the analyst after the money from the grant is gone?
It seems like there is a lot of emphasis on high-poverty schools. Why is that?
How will staff be compensated for working at a high poverty schools?
How will specialists be tied to the performance bonuses available to teachers who work in high-poverty schools?
Who determines our percentage of free and reduced lunch count?
How will specialists (counselors, speech therapists, art, PE and music teachers) be included in bonus opportunities?
Will bonuses for student achievement negatively impact teachers working with disadvantaged populations?
How is giving more money to Master/Mentors increasing student achievement?
Why are we rewarding our Master and Mentor teachers when they teach the kids the least?
Will teachers have the opportunity to evaluate Masters and Mentors and will their stipend amount be based on that evaluation?
It is my understanding that Masters and Mentors are given release time to perform their duties in the course of the school day...
Is there a limit to the number of years a teacher can be a Master or Mentor teacher?
I believe that the inequity among the number of people each Master/Mentor has to evaluate needs to be addressed somehow.
Do Masters and Mentors receive the $25 stipend if they work outside their work day?
Can grant dollars be used to supplement building FTE to offset the time that Masters and Mentors are not in classrooms?
A consequence of TAP is less programs for students because TAP takes FTE away. It also increases class size. If we want to increase student achievement, we need to decrease our large class size.
Can some of the grant dollars be used to reward teachers who earn their Masters Degree beyond the one-time bonus of $2,500?
How does this money affect the Eagle County Charter Academy?
Will district office personnel get raises because of the grant?
Could some of the grant dollars be used to create a position which would help provide more support for students struggling with literacy?
What are differentiated contracts? What would they look like?
Do ELA teachers have a chance to show student growth and get rewarded for student performance?
I thought the grant was for teacher incentives in high-poverty and low-achieving schools. Is grant money going to be distributed to only these or all schools in the district?
If grant money is going to be awarded as bonuses based on student achievement, how are we going to hold students accountable for taking the assessments seriously?

How many specials teachers have gotten the top payout? How can special teachers get that payout?
Will CELA coordinators receive any money for administering the test and doing all the work it requires?
Can any funds be invested to draw interest to prolong the funds?
How do we get content area issues on the rubric re-evaluated?
How do we get singleton teachers in their school matched up with content area mentors and evaluators?
Why can’t the district use TIF to give all teachers a raise?
