Do Masters and Mentors receive the $25 stipend if they work outside their work day?

by Brooke Skjonsby last modified October 29, 2007 01:18 PM

The answer to this question depends on the work for which the stipend is being paid.  If the Master or Mentor is working within their regularly scheduled contract, they would not receive additional pay.  If the work falls outside of his or her contract day, they would receive a stipend. For example, if a Master teacher chose to serve on a committee to research and select valid and reliable assessments for K-2 students and met with the committee during non-contract time, the Master teacher would be paid.
