I believe that the inequity among the number of people each Master/Mentor has to evaluate needs to be addressed somehow.

For instance, while a Master/Mentor at one school has a low number of people to evaluate and coach, another Master/Mentor has a much higher number.

As of the 2006-07 school year all of our schools are required to fill Master and Mentor teacher allocations that result in each Master teacher overseeing the professional development of approximately 14-16 teachers (at a minimum) and each Mentor teacher providing day-to-day coaching and mentoring services to approximately 4-6 teachers (at a minimum).  If there is an inequity in your building, please discuss it with your Principal.
