Who determines our percentage of free and reduced lunch count?

by Brooke Skjonsby last modified October 29, 2007 01:18 PM

For the purposes of the TIF grant, a school’s free and reduced lunch percentage is based on the number of qualifying students at the time of the October 1st count and upload to the Colorado Department of Education.  At the beginning of the school year, all students are provided with an application for free and reduced lunch.  Completed applications are collected by the schools and sent to the district office where eligibility is verified.
