Why are we rewarding our Master and Mentor teachers when they teach the kids the least?

We believe that teachers who accept additional responsibility as instructional leaders deserve additional compensation.  The responsibilities of Master and Mentor teachers includes the development and presentation of new instructional strategies, the coaching and evaluation of peers, and the leadership of weekly Cluster meetings.  Also refer to response #14.
