The grant was written to allow us to develop or purchase assessments for children in grades kindergarten through 2^nd grade and for students in core content areas in grades 9-12.  Specifically, grant funds may be used for:

• Stipends paid to teachers who volunteer to serve on the committees that have been formed to research and review assessments;
• The purchase of the new assessments; and
• Any training of staff that may be associated with new assessments.
